提婆
(sa) deva. Explained by [lang id =1028]天 celestial; also by [lang id =1028]梵天人 inhabitants of the (sa) brahmalokas, or by [lang id =1028]天神 celestial spirits. General designation of the gods of Brahmanism, and of all the inhabitants of (sa) devalokas who are subject to metempsychosis. Also [lang id =1028]提波; [lang id =1028]提和; [lang id =1028]提桓. Used also for Devadatta, infra.
